All-New Genesis G80 is offered in two variants, with a pair of turbo petrol powertrains, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and an optional Luxury Package.

The Genesis G80 2.5T opens the range, powered by a potent and efficient all-new 2.5-litre turbocharged engine.

The petrol four-cylinder unit delivers 224kW and 422Nm and is teamed exclusively with rear-wheel drive via a refined eight-speed automatic transmission.

Genesis G80 2.5T features as standard genuine leather and real wood-finished trim, a 14.5-inch HD touchscreen multimedia interface, multi-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, a panorama sunroof, and a powered hands-free boot.

There are 10 airbags and a range-standard suite of Genesis Active Safety Control technologies, including a multi-function Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system, Driver Attention Warning (DAW), Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist (BCA), Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go and Machine Learning functions, and a Surround View Monitor (SVM) with 3D function.

The flagship Genesis G80 3.5T AWD features an all-new twin-turbo 3.5-litre engine producing 279kW and 530Nm.

The powerhouse petrol V6 applies power to the road via an electronically controlled Genesis AWD system and eight-speed automatic transmission to deliver scintillating performance.

Genesis G80 3.5T AWD variants further enhance comfort and handling by adding Genesis Adaptive Control Suspension (GACS) featuring advanced Road Preview technology, along with five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.

DESIGN

All-new Genesis G80 sedan's progressive exterior elevates the Genesis Athletic Elegance design paradigm to new heights, accentuating the dynamic visual architecture created by the long front dashboard-to-axle ratio and short overhangs front and rear.

G80 showcases the new Genesis Design Identity to create a sophisticated visage, with a Genesis crest emblem-inspired G-Matrix grille flanked by twin-stripe quad headlamps.

Eleven exterior colours for all-new G80 include nine gloss metallic/mica shades and two matte finishes.

INTERIOR

The design of all-new Genesis G80's luxurious cabin is inspired by a Korean philosophy that emphasises 'the beauty of white space'.

The result in Genesis G80 is a minimalistic, intuitive and ergonomic design that places the focus on the driver while treating every occupant to a richly luxurious experience.

Headline features inside all-new G80 include a 14.5-inch Genesis infotainment touchscreen multimedia unit with Augmented Reality (AR) view navigation function, 12.0-inch Head-Up Display (HUD) and, for Luxury Package, a 12.3-inch Genesis 3D instrument cluster.

Additional standard convenience and luxury features in G80 include wireless (Qi standard) smartphone charging, 12-way power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, a panorama sunroof, 21-speaker Lexicon premium audio, and DAB+ radio.

In addition, the flagship G80 3.5T AWD brings the comfort and dynamism of Genesis Adaptive Control Suspension (GACS) with a brand-first Road Preview function.

GACS incorporates control of the Electronic Control Suspension (ECS) and Dynamic Stability Damping Control (DSDC) functions to provide superb occupant comfort and exceptional driving performance.

Road Preview technology builds on GACS, by utilising the front windscreen-mounted camera to detect speed bumps and potholes, and then optimally control the damping force of the vehicle's continually variable Electronic Control Suspension (ECS) in advance, to optimise ride comfort and minimise impact harshness.

SAFETY

All-new G80, like every member of the Genesis line-up, includes an unmatched level of standard active and passive safety technology, as part of a brand commitment to passenger security and comfort.

In addition to a strong and safe body structure, Genesis G80 cocoons occupants with the safety of 10 airbags, including a pioneering centre side airbag system, which prevents or reduces injuries caused by head clashes between front occupants in the event of a side collision.

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM)

All-new G80's innovative Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) gives the driver a convenient live video image of the blind-spot area in the Instrument Cluster.

Left or right side BVM images appear automatically when the corresponding turn signal is in operation, to assist in safer lane changes.

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA)

G80's Smart Parking Assist (SPA) system offers convenient parking assistance at the touch of a button, and also brings Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), both as part of the Luxury Package.

When pulling into a tight perpendicular or parallel parking space, or out of a parallel parking space, the SPA system enables automated assisted steering, vehicle speed and shift control to help park the vehicle.

With the addition of RSPA, the Smart Key can give the user remote control of the SPA system from outside the vehicle.

14.5-inch Augmented Reality (AR) View Navigation

All-New G80's crisp and clear 14.5-inch high-resolution LCD touchscreen multimedia unit features a futuristic Augmented Reality (AR View) navigation function.

Augmented Reality technology maximises safety and convenience by displaying three-dimensional road guidance information as well as warnings associated with Navigation and Genesis Active Safety Control functions.

The system uses a combination of forward image information from the Surround View camera, forward object recognition from the windscreen camera and the front radar, and navigation map data to generate the AR navigation display.

Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE)

Exclusive to the Luxury Package, the all new Genesis Rear Seat Entertainment can be enjoyed by rear occupants in the G80.

Two adjustable 9.2-inch HD monitors are placed conveniently behind the front seatbacks, to present independent media sources to each rear occupant, with audio through their own 3.5mm headphone jacks, and media selection via the intuitive touch-screen interface.

In addition, the Genesis Integrated Controller in the centre armrest control panel can be used to interface with the RSE, to further enhance the entertainment experience.
